Providing quality testing in a timely manner is accomplished in our on-site clinical laboratory. Our laboratory is staffed by a clinical laboratory scientist who performs common laboratory screening tests such as urinalysis, complete blood counts, urine pregnancy tests, blood glucose levels, rapid strep screens. Many of these tests are performed at no charge or a greatly reduced charge. More specialized testing is available and sent to our reference laboratory. A Student Health Center clinician must order all laboratory requests. Our lab has received full accreditation through the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA).
