Have You Heard About Mumps?

The best defense against mumps is being adequately vaccinated!  There is a Midwest regional outbreak of mumps centered in Iowa. If you’ve received 2 MMR immunizations (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) then you are probably immune. If you’ve had the actual mumps infection, then you should also be immune. The outbreak has been occurring primarily in people 18-25 years of age.  (more information)
