Health Promotion & Prevention Services
Welcome to Health Promotion and Prevention Services at CSU
Stanislaus. We are housed inside the Student Health Center in the SHEd (Student Health Education). Our mission is to create a
healthy campus community by advancing the health of all CSU Stanislaus students
through education and support.
To accomplish this, the
Health Promotion staff is involved in a variety of education and prevention
activities such as health fairs, health presentations, health campaigns, and the
recruitment and training of student peer health advocates.
Staff is available to
address a variety of topics such as:
- Alcohol and Other Drugs
- Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
- Birth Control Methods
- Stress Management
- Nutrition
- Physical Fitness
- Sexual Assault
- And much more!
We invite you to stop by the SHEd located inside the Student Health Center—a space designed
specifically for students to sit back, relax, talk with a Peer Health Advocate,
ask questions, pick up safer sex materials, look up health information or hang
out.
